At ZICA Pune, our placement process is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional success in the fields of animation, VFX, graphic design, game design, and digital arts. We don’t just prepare students for their first job—we offer lifetime career support to help them grow in the ever-evolving creative industry. From career counselling to portfolio building and interview preparation, we ensure our graduates are ready to step into the industry with confidence.

STEPS INVOLVED

Placement Registration via Web Form

Easy Online Registration: Course Completed students and eligible alumni register through our ZICA Pune Placement Web Form.

WhatsApp Placement Group Access: Once registered, students are added to our official ZICA Pune Placement WhatsApp Group, where they receive real-time job openings, internship alerts, and important placement-related updates.

Continuous Career Guidance: Our team stays connected with students through this group for ongoing mentoring and job referrals.

Professional Development & Skill Building

Career Counselling Sessions: Industry experts guide students on career pathways, industry expectations, and specialization choices.

Portfolio & Showreel Review: Our faculty and placement mentors provide personalized feedback to polish resumes, portfolios, and demo reels to match professional standards.

Soft Skills Enhancement: Communication skills, interview etiquette, teamwork, and time management workshops are part of our process.

Industry Profiling & Job Alignment

Student Profiling: We collect detailed information about career interests, preferred job roles (e.g., 3D animator, compositor, UI/UX designer), target companies, and preferred work locations.

Job Matching: Openings shared in the WhatsApp group are aligned to student profiles for better relevance and selection chances.

Mock Interviews & Real-World Prep

Mock Interview Practice: Simulated one-on-one and panel interviews with constructive feedback.

Assignment-Based Assessments: Certain recruiters may share creative test briefs to evaluate skills in real time.

Employer Interaction & Selection

Pre-Placement Sessions: Studios and agencies are invited / students are taken for studio visits to interact, share their hiring needs, and give insights into work culture.

Interview & Selection Process: Depending on the recruiter, this may be conducted online, at the studio, or on campus.

Lifetime Career Support

Beyond First Job: At ZICA Pune, our placement assistance doesn’t stop at the first offer. Whether you’re seeking a new opportunity years later or aiming for a career shift, we continue to guide and connect you with openings.

Status Updates: Students—whether placed through ZICA or independently—must keep our placement team informed about their employment status so we can update records and offer relevant future opportunities.

Placement Eligibility

Eligibility: Course Completed students and alumni of full-time programs at ZICA Pune.

Requirements:

Completion of placement registration via web form.

Minimum 75% attendance in academics and 90% attendance in placement workshops.

All dues cleared before applying for placement assistance.
